Welcome to Dixie Canyon Avenue Elementary School and the exciting 2011-2012 school year! We realize how important your children are to you and that you want the best education for them. The Dixie Canyon PTA supports the ongoing effort in raising well rounded children. Studies show that children enjoy learning and have better life experiences when parents, school staff, students and the community work together!
Dixie Canyon's PTA Membership Campaign will begin on September 19 and we invite you to join us in making a difference. As you know, budgets for programs, teacher aides and educational materials have been cut, and your support for Dixie Canyon is now more important and essential than ever!
Dixie Canyon's PTA plays a crucial role in your child's educational experience by providing the financial means necessary to support a variety of Academic Enrichment Programs that would otherwise not be available including: the new Dixie Discovery Center, Visual Arts Program, Teacher Supplies, Campus Supervision, Performing Arts, and Library Books. This 2011-2012 year, we will bring back STAR PE! The PTA's goal for the coming year is to continue funding our existing programs and funding future programs by earning 100% family and teacher/staff membership! We need everyone to join
Make one of the most important investments for your child's future now by joining the Dixie Canyon PTA! This is for the entire year! Only pay one time! We are a non-profit organization, so your membership and any further donation you may wish to make may be tax deductible. Membership cards will be sent home with your child.
Join the PTA now online. Select PTA Membership with options for either a single membership $12 or family membership $15. We encourage student participation as well.
