COMPUTER EXPLORATION LAB

Our community and Dixie parents rose to the challenge this summer by raising funds to meet the 4/1 generous matching technology grant challenge from the Friedman Foundation.

With the Friedman Foundation matching grant, the $10,000 rose to $50,000 enabling Dixie to purchase new equipment and upgrade the network this year --all of our children will benefit!

Our Computer Professional Expert assists classroom teachers with Open Court research and investigation. Additionally, the teachers utilize the computer lab and technology expert with student skill development such as hand/eye coordination, internet use, publishing, word processing and keyboarding.
